This is got to be one of the most sought after dish as it tastes simply delectable and mouth-watering!!
Since this dish has a different colour, texture and taste, it is ideal to serve it with other sabjis, which are generally tomato based and hence has a contrasting look when laid on the table.
It is an uncomplicated quick to prepare recipe, which takes less than 20 minutes
Ingredients to serve 6 people
400 gms Coconut Cream
4 Tbs Fresh Cream (optional)
2 Tbs Oil
Vegetables Required
2 Medium Sized Carrots
2 Medium Sized Potatoes (peeled)
200 gms Fresh Beans
Spices Required (Raw)
1 small onion (chopped in quarters)
1 small tomato (chopped in quarters)
2 green chillies
1 inch piece ginger
2 pods garlic
Few fresh coriander leaves
2 Tbs Grated Coconut
4 cashew nuts
½ Tsp Fennel seeds
Preparation
Slice the carrots, potatoes and beans lengthwise
Microwave the vegetables on high for 6-7 minutes and keep aside
Grind the spices into a soft mixture
Heat the oil in a pan
Add the ground spice mixture and sauté for a couple of minutes
Stir through the cooked vegetables and fry for a few minutes
Add the coconut cream, fresh cream and mix it thoroughly
Cook it for 5 minutes on a low flame
Garnish it with chopped fresh coriander leaves and the korma is ready to be served
Note: It tastes delicious with rotis, puris, plain cooked basmati rice or plain rice stick
