Lime or Lemon Sevai (Rice Stick)

Sevai is made out of Rice – the traditional way of preparing Sevai is quite elaborate.  Soak the rice overnight or 7-8 hours.
Grind the soaked rice into a smooth batter and run the batter through a sevai maker (which has a rotating handle at the top and a plate at the bottom with tiny holes for the batter to go through to make it stringy)

The Quick, Effortless and Scrumptious way of making Sevai without advance notice or any preparation is with dried fine rice stick available in local Super Markets
or in Asian Grocery stores.
All you need to ensure is that there are packets of  Dried Rice Sticks ((pictured below) handy in the pantry!!!!!!

Juice of Lime or Lemon is the other core ingredient used in the preparation of this dish
Lime is a citrus fruit which is green or yellow in colour with an acidic taste and flavour.
It has a high content of Vitamin C and the juice of lime is most often used

in accentuating the flavours of drinks or in the preparation of various dishes!! Limes are similar to lemons except that the limes are more fragrant than lemons!
Choose limes that are heavy, which possibly have more juice!  Pickles made out of limes taste delicious and has a longer shelf life if stored in a cool dry place!!
