Ingredients to serve 6 people
1 Medium Sized Cabbage (chopped fine)
1 Tbs Oil
1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
2 Green Chillies (slit lengthwise)
ΒΌ Tsp Turmeric Powder
Few Coriander Leaves (fresh and finely chopped)
1-2 Tsp Salt
Preparation
Heat oil in a pan
Add the turmeric, cumin seeds, sliced green chillies and the chopped cabbage
Saute it for a minute and cover with the lid on a low flame for about 4 -5 minutes.
Add the salt, gently stir it through and toss the pan at intervals of two minutes
Let it cook for a further 5 minutes on a low flame or until soft and tender.
Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves
The curry is now ready to be served
Note: This curry can be eaten with rotis (bread) or as an accompaniment with sambhar and rasam
